On Sept. 17, T3 Sixty will hold in-person and online information sessions for CREB® members about the CREB®-RAE merger exploration process.

Great leaders don’t always see themselves as leaders right away. Sometimes, it takes someone else recognizing their potential — or an opportunity to see where their skills and experience could make a difference.

In a series of articles, we’re discussing What the Heck is Governance. As we do in all areas of our work, we draw on the knowledge and experiences of experts. 
In July, we announced that T3 Sixty had been chosen as the consultant that will facilitate the exploration process of whether merging CREB® and RAE would provide value to members. 
As part of the ongoing implementation of CREB®'s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, the CREB® Board of Directors has approved two mid-year updates to the Strategic Plan and Framework.

In May we announced that CREB® and the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton (RAE) had agreed to explore whether a merger of the two organizations would benefit our members. This message is to let you know that we have engaged a consultant, T3 Sixty, to guide us through this exploration.

We don't just collect feedback; we use it. The CREB® Member Satisfaction Survey gave members an opportunity to tell us what's working, what could be improved and where we should focus our efforts.
Strong governance helps ensure CREB® continues to make thoughtful, strategic decisions on behalf of members. CREB®’s Governance Manual is posted on the Governance Excellence tab on CREB®Link and it explains our governance framework; which involves people, processes and the structures that establish how that is to occur.

Starting the week of June 15, randomly selected CREB® members will receive an email with a link to a survey that asks questions about CREB®’s member communications and how you would like CREB® to communicate with you.

The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is accepting nominations for an Urban Commercial Real Estate seat on the Commercial Real Estate Broker and Commercial Property Manager Industry Council.

When we announced that CREB® and the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton (RAE) have begun exploring whether members would benefit from a merger of the two organizations, we created the Exploring a Joint Future with RAE hub on CREB®Link to serve as a central location for up-to-date information on the discussions.
