Thank you to all members who attended CREB®'s 2026 annual general meeting on April 28. Participation at the AGM is an important opportunity for members to participate directly in CREB®’s governance. If you missed the meeting, here are some of the highlights.
While talking with a long-term member recently, I had an “a-ha” moment when the discussion turned to the topic of governance and he said, “I love being a REALTOR®, but I don’t get all this talk about governance; what the heck is governance, really”?

Regional delegates from across the country gathered today at the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) to vote on two recommendations affecting member dues.

CREB® is offering a limited number of lessee opportunities within CREB® Campus—inviting businesses that complement and enhance the member experience to become part of the Campus community.

Calgary City Council has approved bylaw amendments to repeal blanket rezoning and restore land use districts and property designations to their pre-2024 state. 

This CREB®Cast episode breaks down the proposed change to Bylaw 6.4, which addresses board composition ahead of the member vote at the AGM happening on Tuesday, April 28 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at CREB® Campus and online.
