The results are in for the 2026 Board By-election.

Last week, we shared the results of the non-binding member poll regarding CREA’s proposed two per cent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) dues increase and the $30 special assessment for the Legal Defense Fund. 

Recent public discussion—including CREB^®’s advocacy on behalf of members—about blanket rezoning in Calgary has continued to highlight the importance of thoughtful, evidence-based housing policy.

Last week, we asked members to provide input on two recommendations that are being voted on by delegates at the CREA AGM on April 14.

CREB^® will be participating in The City of Calgary’s upcoming public hearing regarding the citywide (blanket) rezoning policy the week of March 23.

As CREB^®’s Board Chair, I’d like to update members on the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) legal proceedings that we informed you about on January 23, 2026.

As my term as the first public director of CREB^® concludes, I want to sincerely thank the members for the opportunity to serve.
