Valerie Konechny’s volunteering journey began in the fall of 2011. She had been a licensed REALTOR® for five years, and at an annual general meeting, someone asked her if she was a volunteer.

Since 2016, CREB® has had an agreement in place with SentriLock as our Key Management partner to supply the keyboxes we provide to our members.

To ensure governance excellence and continuous improvement at CREB®, the Board of Directors has accepted the Governance Standing Committee (GSC) recommendation to amend 1.1.3 Board Nomination, Election & Succession policy, creating a required milestone for the board to approve the Chair to serve for a second year.

After the recent by-election, CREB®’s Board Development and Leadership Standing Committee (BDLSC) conducted a comprehensive review.
