Last week, we introduced you to CREB®’s 2026 to 2030 strategic plan. This week, we’ve released a podcast in which CREB® Chair Susanita de Diego, Chair-Elect Matt McBean and CEO & President Alan Tennant discuss how the plan came together with input from members, brokers, staff and partners, and the three strategic goals — elevating the REALTOR® profession, delivering member-driven services and experiences, and strengthening future readiness.
CREB® has seen significant growth in recent years — our membership has expanded by more than 40 per cent, and we now serve a community of over 8,700 REALTORS®.
Alongside this growth, we’re seeing shifting demographics, with millennials making up the largest group, and that brings new expectations for services, technology and support. At the same time, our industry is facing increased competition, rapid technological change, and evolving consumer demands.
So, we’re taking a deeper dive with the first episode of a six-part video podcast series:
Episode 1 – Behind the blueprint: Overview of the five-year Strategic Plan
In this conversation, you’ll hear how the plan came together with input from members, brokers, staff and partners, and what that will mean for REALTORS®’ day-to-day. We’ll walk through the three strategic goals — elevating the REALTOR® profession, delivering member-driven services and experiences, and strengthening future readiness. The podcast will also share how this vision will be brought to life starting Jan. 1, 2026.
The discussion highlights:
- How member feedback shaped the framework
- What elevating the REALTOR® profession looks like in practice
- How CREB® will operationalize the plan through annual cycles of measurement and adjustment
