The real estate business is stressful, and that stress can show up in unhealthy and unexpected ways in our professional and personal lives. 

Members have been notified by AREA that several commonly used forms have been updated following review and recommendations from the AREA Forms and Practice Committee. 

On Friday, Jan. 9, Len T. Wong tendered his immediate resignation from the board of directors for personal and business reasons. 

Following several years of strong price growth, 2025 marked a year of transition thanks to strong demand and limited supply. Due to record high starts, supply levels improved across all aspects of the housing market, just as demand pressure eased due to a reduction in migration levels and heightened uncertainty that persisted throughout the spring market.

Our Professional Standards Assurance Team (PSAT) has been busy in 2025, and we are still taking applications from CREB^® members to be part of our administrative justice investigation and hearing panels in 2026.

The CREB^® Board of Directors is calling a by-election on Dec. 17, at 3 p.m. after receiving Vivienne Huisman’s resignation effective Nov. 19, 2025.
