In September AREA conducted a member survey soliciting thoughts from REALTORS® in Alberta about the current board structure and the value of services being offered.  In last week’s newsletter, AREA shared insights gained from the survey and defined the principal priority as streamlining services throughout Alberta.  

AREA is recruiting for the 2020-2021 term on their board of directors.

A short while ago (last Wednesday, Sept. 4), AREA sent out a survey to all members across the province asking about the future of Alberta REALTOR® boards and associations.

On Aug. 8, the Minister of Service Alberta suspended the implementation of the Real Estate Council of Alberta’s (RECA) advertising guideline clarifications that were slated to take effect on Oct. 1, 2019.

With consistent updates being made to federal FITNTRAC legislation, the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) has created a new FINTRAC portal.
