As a member of CREB®, AREA and CREA, you have some rights and obligations that are entrenched in the bylaws of each organization.

From time to time, it is appropriate for us to comment on something that is in the news. However, our focus continues to be on raising the bar of professionalism and that begins with our practice of not commenting on matters that are ongoing. Whether it is an issue that falls within our jurisdiction, RECA’s or the courts, our position is that our members deserve due process. 

In part 1 we established that standards must be upheld, and we all have a role to play. Practice standards must be fair, practical and consistently sustained.

Every professional real estate agent knows the importance of maintaining market order and the confidence of the public.

We are well aware of the commentary among some members that weighs the value of membership in CREB®️ versus other nearby boards, such as the REALTORS® Association of South Central Alberta (RASCA).

Since 2016, CREB® has had an agreement in place with SentriLock as our Key Management partner to supply the keyboxes we provide to our members.

Many times, I’ve told anyone that would listen that I love my job.  

The annual voyage to Parliament Hill is always an experience to behold – this year was no exception.

It’s a new year and, for CREB®, the beginning of our 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.
