SPIN2 to ARLO transition

By CREB®

The Alberta government is transitioning its online land title search services from SPIN2 to ARLO, its new digital land registry system.

Members should be prepared for SPIN2 to be retired by early December, with ARLO becoming the system of record for land title services in Alberta. The land title search services currently available through SPIN2 are already available in ARLO, so members can begin using and familiarizing themselves with the new system now.

Prepare for the transition by setting up ARLO Pro Accounts

ARLO Pro enables a central account administrator to manage users, permissions and account details in one place. Onboarding early will give users time to activate their accounts, invite users and become familiar with the system before the December transition.

Members can also set up their own individual ARLO accounts and pay by credit card for documents as needed.

What you need to know:

• All brokers and associates must have an Alberta.ca account to access ARLO.
• ARLO is available now and can be used immediately.
• Payment options:
o Individual account: Pay by credit card for documents in your cart.
o Account administrator: A brokerage or team administrator can manage users, permissions, billing and account details.

Please note: SPIN2 or ALTA credentials will not work in ARLO. Each user must sign in with an Alberta.ca account. Organizations can link their Land Titles charge account to an ARLO Pro account during onboarding.

Land Titles base fee adjustments effective Oct. 1, 2026

Some fee adjustments include:
