• Oct. 28, 4 p.m. — Nominations close
• Nov. 4, 9 a.m. — Candidates announced
• Nov. 12, 2 p.m. — Meet the Candidates event at CREB® Campus
• Nov. 16, 3 p.m. — Voting opens
• Nov. 19, 3 p.m. — Voting closes; Results will be posted following the close of voting and will remain available for seven days.
Terms of the successful candidates
The terms of the four successful candidates in this election will run from Jan. 1, 2027, to Dec. 31, 2029.

CREB® bylaws require all candidates to have completed the Canadian Real Estate Association's (CREA's) Leadership 100, 200 and 300 courses.
• Leadership 100: Free and available online; prerequisite for Leadership 200 and 300
• Leadership 200: Oct. 6 — Virtual
• Leadership 300: Oct. 8 — Virtual
Candidates must also meet the qualifications outlined in the CREB® Governance Manual, CREB® Bylaws Article 6.6 – Qualifications and CREB® Bylaw 6.4(d) - Composition of Board.
Strengthening the election process
Following the 2026 election, CREB® established the Director Election Review Task Force to identify practical ways to strengthen the election framework, reduce future risk and build member and stakeholder confidence in the process. Members will receive more information about the task force’s work and its recommendations as the election approaches.
