Serving on the CREB® Board of Directors is an opportunity to help guide the future of organized real estate and influence the direction of key priorities outlined in CREB®’s strategic plan.
Terms of the successful candidates
The two board positions being filled became vacant following the resignation of directors whose terms would have expired in different years. As a result, the terms of the successful candidates in this by-election will end at different times. The term ending:
• Dec. 31, 2026 will be filled by the candidate with the second-highest number of votes
• Dec. 31, 2028 will be filled by the candidate with the highest number of votes
The successful candidate will begin their term immediately following the by-election.
We’re seeking members who are:
• Creative, collaborative and eager to make a positive impact
• Knowledgeable about the organized real estate landscape
• Strong communicators and thoughtful listeners
• Interested in growing as leaders while shaping the profession

Eligibility requirements
Candidates must have completed CREA Leadership Courses 100, 200 and 300, and meet the qualifications outlined in the CREB® Governance Manual, CREB® Bylaws Article 6.6 – Qualifications and CREB® Bylaw 6.4(d) - Composition of Board.
Key by-election dates
• Nominations: Candidate nominations opened March 4 at 9 a.m. and close March 11 at 4 p.m.
• Candidates announced: Qualified candidates will be announced and their bios will be published on CREB®Link on March 18.
• Meet Your Candidates event: Wednesday, March 19 from 2 p.m. 4 p.m. at CREB® Campus.
The event is designed to help you get to know the candidates, understand their vision for CREB®’s future and make an informed decision when voting opens March 25 – all while enjoying handcrafted mocktails and treats.
Spots are limited — Register today and be part of shaping CREB®’s future.
• Voting: Online polls open for 24 hours at 3 p.m. on March 25 and close at 3 p.m. on March 26.
• Results: By-election results will be posted on CREB®Link by 4 p.m., March 26 and will remain available for seven days.
