Recovery from critical illnesses like cancer, stroke and heart disease may come with a significant financial cost that impacts you and those around you. This is why we created the Critical Illness Benefit Society (CIBS).
As the only critical illness benefit for REALTORS® in North America, CIBS offers a one-time, tax-free benefit of $12,500 to qualified CREB® members facing hardships associated with medical costs due to a life-changing illness.Payment is delivered to qualifying members several working days after a claim is approved.
To date, CIBS has supported over 385 CREB® members, providing more than $4.2 million in critical need benefits.
Please note: Members have a maximum of two years from the date of diagnosis to submit a claim.
