Are you ready to help shape the future of organized real estate? Nominations for the 2026 CREB® Board Election open Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at 9 a.m.

We’re looking for passionate members who are eager to invest their time and energy in advancing CREB®’s strategic objectives and strengthening our real estate community.

Who should apply?

Ideal candidates bring:

  • Creativity, collaboration and a genuine desire to make a difference
  • A broad understanding of organized real estate
  • Strong communication, critical thinking and listening skills
  • An interest in growing as a leader while helping shape the profession

Eligibility requirements

To run for election to the board of directors, candidates must complete CREA Leadership Courses 100, 200 and 300 (see CREB® Bylaws Article 6.6 – Qualifications).

These virtual courses are available through CREA:

  • Leadership 100 – A one-hour online course, free for all members. You can take this course any time; it is a prerequisite for Leadership 200 and 300.
  • Leadership 200 – Oct. 7, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. MT – $186.45 (tax incl.)
  • Leadership 300 – Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. MT – $186.45 (tax incl.)

Key election dates

  • Nominations – Open Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. and close Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.
  • Candidate information posted – Oct. 29 at 9 a.m. on CREB®Link
  • Meet the Candidates – Nov. 12 at CREB® Campus (registration coming soon!)
  • Voting – Nov. 12 at 3 p.m. to Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. (electronic voting)
