Updates to basement fields
Based on member feedback, the Basements field will break into three separate fields to aid with searchability: basement, basement development and basement features.
Adding basement information will only be required after selecting residential properties such as a detached, semi detached (half-duplex), townhouse or duplex (full-duplex). It does not apply to apartment or recreational properties.
The three fields will offer the following options:
• Basement
- Full (If selected, the addition fields basement development and basement features will be required)
- Partial (If selected, the addition fields basement development and basement features will be required)
- Crawlspace
- Dugout
- Other
- None
- Finished

• Number legal suites
A legal suite is an existing secondary suite that is registered on the City of Calgary suite registry. If the suite is not in Calgary, it must be approved for occupancy by the municipality that the property is located in.
Please note: A saved search conversion will be done to minimize the impact to any saved searches and/or auto emails.
