It’s that time of year when the sun is warmer, the birds are singing and we all want to be outside a little more! Community Grant recipient HomeSpace needs your help with a spring clean-up on May 22 and June 4 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. so the residents at their properties can enjoy the warm weather ahead.
Volunteers will be raking leaves, trimming hedges and plants, line painting and other various improvements.
HomeSpace is a charity that builds and manages affordable housing for vulnerable people in Calgary, with over 900 units that house over 1,300 residents. HomeSpace supports a housing first approach as a way to solve homelessness and aims to build more specialized, affordable housing to address the housing crisis.
