RECA launches consumer-focused website

By CREB®
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) has launched a brand-new consumer-focused digital experience: recaprotects.caThis platform is designed to help Albertans better understand their rights in real estate, mortgage, property management and condominium management transactions.

This launch is a key step in their continued commitment to consumer protection, transparency, and public education.

The website includes:

  • A clean, intuitive design tailored to consumers
  • Step-by-step guidance on common real estate experiences
  • Easy-to-use complaint and licensing verification tools
  • Multilingual content in six languages to better serve all Albertans
  • Clear pathways to additional resources on their licensee site
  • RECA has re-named their licensee search tool; it's now called RECA ProCheck. You can find links to it on both reca.ca and recaprotects.ca.

RECA encourages you to:

  • Share both with your networks, clients, and stakeholders
  • Use them as trusted resources in your daily work
  • Review the Quick Reference Guide to see what's changed

Why It Matters

These new digital experiences support RECA’s mandate of consumer awareness and protection while also strengthening their connection with licensees through a dedicated, purpose-built platform.
