CREB^®’s Board of Directors announced a unanimous decision to advance a Canada-first approach, in step with the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) response at the national level to U.S. tariffs.  For us, this means that participation by CREB^® representatives at U.S.-based conferences and events will be cancelled for the foreseeable future. The Board of Directors has also directed CREB^® staff to provide a report on the organization’s purchasing of U.S. products and services, along with notes detailing CREB^® actions that support a Canada-first approach. 

CREB^® will continue to work with our federal and provincial partners to support their Canada-first approaches to ending the tariff war, and we commit to keeping members informed and up-to-date as the situation progresses and our response evolves.
