Ongoing Enhancements to ARLO

By CREB®
The Alberta Registry for Land Online (ARLO), continues to unveil new features as part of the Alberta government’s commitment to modernizing the land titles system for users.

ARLO will eventually replace the SPIN2 system members currently use to perform title searches; however, SPIN2 will remain operational until all necessary features have been developed and successfully transitioned to ARLO.

Initial enhancements to ARLO’s title search, help centre, client contact page, and volume data access (VDA) online form took effect February 2025. (See CREB®Talk – March 2025)

The June improvements include:

New Features

  • Alberta Parcel Map: Users can now search for titles using an interactive parcel map with intuitive zooming and panning tools to easily explore and view title locations.
  • Title Download: Users can download purchased titles directly from ARLO rather than waiting for an emailed PDF attachment. Both current and historical titles are available to download in ARLO.

Enhancements

  • Title Search: Searches can now be performed using legal land descriptions based on the Alberta Township Survey (ATS) system.
  • Help Centre & Contact Page: New and improved help resources provide access to a broader range of help topics and solutions.

We encourage members to explore ARLO and use these enhancements to simplify their land titles search transactions. If you have any questions or require assistance, ARLO’s Contact Us and Help Centre pages provide dedicated support to guide you through the process.
