A life-changing illness can strike at any age and at any time during a REALTORS®’ career. That’s why the Critical Illness Benefit Society (CIBS) offers a one-time, tax-free benefit of $12,500 to qualified CREB® members facing hardships associated with medical costs due to a life-changing illness.
Qualified members will receive payments several working days from the time a claim is approved. Members have a maximum of two years from the date of diagnosis to submit a claim. CIBS claims are confidential, and recipients remain anonymous.
To this day, CIBS has supported 339 CREB® members, providing $3,810,953 in critical need benefits.
