CREB® understands that a life-threatening illness can take a toll on a REALTOR®’s life and career at any given moment. It is for this reason that the Critical Illness Benefit Society (CIBS) assists members experiencing a life-threatening illness with $12,500 to provide support with medical costs.
This one-time, tax-free benefit is offered to CREB® members who have been active and in good standing for two years, are experiencing a critical illness and need to know the ease of filing a claim. Claims can be made within two years from the date of diagnosis.
As the only critical illness benefit program for REALTORS® in North America, CIBS has supported over 260 CREB® members and provided more than $3.1 million in critical need benefits.
