Update on CREA's REALTOR® Cooperation Policy

By CREB®

CREA’s proposed amendment to the REALTOR® Code was passed at their AGM on April 18, which incorporates REALTOR® Cooperation as an ethical obligation starting January 2024.

Our intention is to work with all Alberta Boards/Associations to determine a made-in-Alberta solution for our members in advance of the January 2024 implementation date.

The CREA REALTOR® Cooperation policy includes an obligation for REALTORS® to place listings on their MLS® System within three days of public marketing, with some exceptions. Application and enforcement will be handled at the local level.

CREA’s REALTOR® Cooperation information is available here, or visit CREA’s Member Portal for full details.
