Visit the Night of Lights on Nov. 10 or visit the field of crosses on Nov. 11 during the day to pay your respects. One of Calgary’s most incredible Remembrance Day ceremonies will return this month and is expected to be as moving as ever.

Canadian Pacific Remembrance Day Ceremony
An event meant to honour all veterans, the annual Canadian Pacific Ceremony will take place at CP Memorial Square this year. This event will be open to the public and there will be light refreshments served afterward.

National Remembrance Day Ceremony
The largest ceremony in Canada, this incredible event encourages all Canadians to stand in collective remembrance of those who have served and fallen in the military. During this service, people all over the country can pay their respects with a performance of the Last Post, prayers, two minutes of silence and more.

Time: 10:30 a.m.
Honouring veterans past and present, this year the Military Museum has put together a respectful ceremony that will pay tribute to Canadian soldiers, some of which who will be in attendance with a performance of The Last Post, a moment of silence, and memorial wreaths. For those who cannot be there in person, this event will also be offered online on The Military Museum Facebook page.

Attend the annual service held at the Hangar Flight Museum – a beautiful event honouring our veterans both the past and present. This event will happen rain, shine or snow, so please dress warm, Calgary!
