Take your leadership skills to the next level with Leadership 200 and 300. If you are considering running in CREB®'s fall election, this is your chance to beat the rush and complete these mandatory prerequisite courses.

 


Leadership 200: Becoming a leader 

Accelerate your leadership development with tools and techniques that give you the ability to see the big picture. You'll learn about providing good governance, participating effectively in meetings, and building consensus as you get more involved in association leadership. Please note, there are two dates available, but you only need to register for one.

Dates: May 31 & Oct. 11
Time: 
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 Leadership 100

Leadership 300: Enhancing leadership skills

Strengthen your executive leadership skills so that you can work effectively. This interactive learning experience will help you chair meetings, answer tough questions and advance strategic plans. Please note, there are two dates available, but you only need to register for one.

Dates: June 2 & Oct. 13
Time: 
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: 
Online, from CREA
Fee: $169.50 (tax included)
Course prerequisites: 
Leadership 100 and Leadership 200

As per Board Composition Policy 1.1.1, Leadership 100, 200 and 300 are a prerequisite for any member who wishes to run for seat on the Board of Directors.

Members who have not taken Leadership 100 can complete the course for free online through CREA's website here.
