The City of Calgary has amended their Masking Bylaw to align with the masking mandates currently in place from the Government of Alberta.  

As of Feb. 14, people who are 12 years and younger are no longer required to wear face coverings.  

Please remember, sellers may continue to require children to wear masks when entering properties and can continue to set their own restrictions related to showings and open houses, such as the number of people who can be in the property at one time. 

We recommend that you touch base with your sellers to discuss how provincial and municipal masking updates may impact their comfort level around showings and open houses. Please ensure that you are familiar with your sellers’ current instructions for showings and open houses and provide those instructions to the buyer’s representatives. As always, we recommend that you receive and send instructions in writing.
