The City of Calgary is looking for interested Calgarians to apply to volunteer on many of its Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs).
These positions allow Calgarians to engage in the municipal decision-making process by providing guidance to city council.
The deadline for applications is Thursday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.
BCCs provide city council with recommendations regarding important civic issues. They also play an integral role in bringing together citizens and the City to achieve the common goal of strengthening the community.
The majority of BCC positions are non-paid, but some offer an honorarium.
