CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation announced last week that $65,000 will be granted to six local non-profit organizations.
The Foundation is awarding funds through its Community and Transformation Grant programs, which focus on keeping people housed and improving housing quality.
The following organizations were selected as our 2020 grant recipients:
Community Grants:
- Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter
- Discovery House Family Violence Prevention Society
- Emma Maternity House Society
Transformation Grants:
“We’re really grateful for the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation and CREB® REALTORS® – for the members supporting our work,” said Sue Lee, director of philanthropy for Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta. “Because if anyone understands the importance of the home, it’s REALTORS®. They help people find homes and make a home.”
