It has been a tough year, but REALTORS® are still showing they care about their communities through charitable acts of goodwill.
For the remainder of 2020, CREB® is acknowledging these philanthropic accomplishments and initiatives, and we hope you will help us spread the word!
REALTORS Care® Week
CREA’s REALTORS Care® Week, scheduled to take place Nov. 23 to Nov. 27, is an annual week for the REALTOR® community to raise awareness about important housing and shelter-related issues.
As you know, the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation unveiled three new grant streams to address housing and shelter issues from several angles. In September, our grant recipients were announced, encompassing a diverse selection of local non-profits that strive to provide solutions for housing-related issues.
Starting Nov. 21, and continuing throughout REALTORS Care® Week, the foundation will profile each of these organizations on its Facebook page and highlight how REALTORS® are giving back to the community during these difficult times.
You can help us spread the word that “CREB® REALTORS® Care” by:
- Following CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation and CREB®Now on Facebook; and
- Sharing these posts to create awareness about the philanthropic initiatives of local REALTORS®.
A month of giving
As REALTORS Care® week winds down, the holiday season will be ramping up. During the month of December, CREB®Now will raise awareness of local REALTOR®-driven charitable endeavours through its social channels and crebnow.com.
If you are part of a charitable organization or initiative that could benefit from a little added exposure, please email the following to CREB® External Relations and Media Advisor Tyler Difley, at tyler.difley@creb.ca by Dec. 1, 2020:
- Your name;
- The organization or initiative’s name, website and/or social media page; and
- A sentence explaining the work of the organization/initiative.
