CREB® members now have read-only access to the Pillar 9™ MLS® System – Alberta’s new home for realty listing services.
About read-only access
CREB® members will have read-only access to the Pillar 9™ system until July 7, which includes access to active listings and several years of history in a read-only format. Please note, the data available in read-only mode will not reflect additions or changes made in CREB®'s MLS® System between June 29 and July 7.
Full system migration to the Pillar 9™ MLS® System will take place July 7 - 8. An MLS® System blackout period will take place between 10 a.m. on July 7 to 10 a.m. on July 8. During this time, members will not have access to the MLS® System.
Members are encouraged to download the CREB® welcome package to ensure a smooth user experience in the new system.
How to access the new Pillar 9™ Matrix™
To log into the new Matrix™ MLS® System, follow the below steps:
- Visit pillarnine.com
- Click the “member login” button in the top right corner
- Enter the username you use to access your board’s MLS® System
- Enter the password: Pillar9!
- Set your new Pillar 9™ password as prompted (this can be the same password you currently use for your CREB® login)
- Once logged in, click on the Matrix™ button in the top left of the dashboard to access the MLS® System
If you have previously set your Pillar 9™ password, skip steps 4 & 5 and simply enter your existing password.
Tech Tip: CREB® members will have two passwords until July 8:
- Your Pillar 9™ password will only be used to access Pillar 9™ services.
- Your current CREB® password will be used everywhere else.
As of July 8, your Pillar 9™ password will become your primary password and used across all platforms, including CREB®Link, and your old CREB® password will no longer exist.
Migration training
CREB® members can register now for a Pillar 9™ webinar training session (or watch a pre-recorded session) to learn all about the high-performance features that will enhance your MLS® System experience.
Training will run from June 29 - July 13. Members can choose to take training during the Pillar 9™ read-only access period, pre-migration (June 29 - July 7) or post-migration, with full system access from July 8 - July 13.
