Safe to say, we hit our mark— thanks to you, we had 1,983 members who completed our recent needs assessment survey.

Your feedback will help us better understand what products and services you need most for your business. Congratulations to all the prize giveaway winners (375 in total), including our grand prize winner of an iPhone X, Anders Ellice, Associate with Century 21 Foothills Real Estate.

Some of the high-level survey results were:

  • General member satisfaction as well as satisfaction with CREB® services both increased by four per cent when compared to 2015;
  • Responses to the question, “CREB® understands my needs?”, increased by four per cent compared to 2015; and
  • Members said they most often turn to CREB® over other organizations to meet their business needs.

Members also ranked the importance of CREB® services and benefits. Here are the top three selections.

  1. Professional Development and Education;
  2. Communications; and
  3. Member Practice.

On top of some hard numbers, members also provided us with a goldmine of open ended responses, which we will be delving into in the coming weeks.

Early indicators from the survey clearly show that we are on the right track with our 2018-2020 strategic plan.

Next steps forward

We surveyed, you responded, now it’s our turn to deliver.

This process started earlier in the week, when the management team and board of directors undertook a first quarter performance review. Much like the survey results, this analysis reaffirmed CREB®’s direction and the need to stay the course.

We will be diving more deeply into the survey results and comments over the coming weeks. From this we anticipate solidifying the roster of product and service needs as well as how we move forward to more robustly meet them.
