The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is looking for two mortgage brokers or associates to join its Hearing Panel roster. 

Roster members serve as decision makers as part of Hearing Panels under the Real Estate Act and Rules. If you are an enthusiastic supporter of self-regulation with a drive to maintain and raise professional standards, this may be the opportunity for you!

Applicants should have:

• Minimum five years of mortgage brokerage experience;
• Exemplary understanding of mortgage practice and standards; 
• Sound judgment, tact and diplomacy;
• Strong integrity; 
• The ability to analyze and make findings of fact and breach;
• Excellent communication skills; and
• Administrative law knowledge and past tribunal experience are assets.

The term may run up to three years with the possibility of an additional three-year term. Please note, RECA will provide training. Daily honoraria and expenses apply.
