This year’s board election had a record voter turnout, with 35 per cent of our membership participating. 

"This is our second year of record voter turnout,” said CREB^® president David P. Brown. "It’s an outstanding achievement, especially for a board our size."

In full, there were 1,727 members' who casted 5,975 votes. This represents a 15 per cent increase in year-over-year voter turnout for CREB^®’s board of directors. 

The newly elected directors for 2018 are:

• Ms. Joanna Barstad         
• Ms. Lorna Hamm              
• Ms. Sarah Johnston         
• Mr. Ian Jones
• Mr. Doug Koop                  
• Ms. Wendy Morrow        

These leaders will join the following directors whose terms carry over into 2018:

• Mr. Tom Westcott, president
• Mr. David P. Brown, immediate past-president
• Mr. Rick Campos
• Ms. Karen Salmon

Congratulations to the new leadership. The 2018 board will be officially sworn-in at the board of directors meeting on Jan. 24.
