If you’ve updated SentriSmart™ lately, you may have noticed some changes. SentriLock has just added two new features for app users—end of showing notifications and non-owner shackle release functionality.

End of showing notifications

SentriLock has further enhanced the notification process when your lockboxes are accessed. Listing agents can now be notified when showings begin and end. 

This new feature will allow you to track the duration of showings, solicit more timely feedback and offer better service to their sellers.

What will trigger an end of showing notification to be sent?

  • GPS tracks when the showing agent has moved beyond the .80 kilometer radius of the lockbox, a notification is sent (also known as geofencing); or
  • The showing agent accesses another lockbox at a different location after the initial access of the listing agent’s lockbox. 

End of showing notifications also act as a safety and security measure. If a notification is not sent within 90 minutes of the beginning of the showing, the listing agent will be notified that the end of showing has NOT been confirmed and that they will need to contact the showing agent to confirm the showing has ended.

***NOTE*** For this feature to function properly, the lockbox must be closed after the keys are initially accessed, following proper lockbox access procedures.

Non-owner shackle release

Lockbox owners will now be able to obtain a non-owner shackle release code in the SentriSmart™ application.

For those times when you install or remove a lockbox from listing on your behalf, you now have the ability to generate a code via the SentriSmart™ app to release the shackle on a specific lockbox on a specific day.
