Earlier today, all members received two email notices of special meetings from CREB® and the CREB® Charitable Foundation.

Since April 18, prior to the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) 2023 Annual General Meeting, CREB^®’s Board of Directors has been updating our membership on some ongoing concerns with CREA.

CREB® understands that a life-threatening illness can take a toll on a REALTOR®’s life and career at any given moment. It is for this reason that the Critical Illness Benefit Society (CIBS) assists members experiencing a life-threatening illness with $12,500 to provide support with medical costs.

To ensure governance excellence and continuous improvement at CREB^®, the Board of Directors has accepted the Governance Standing Committee (GSC) recommendation to amend 1.1.3 Board Nomination, Election & Succession policy, creating a required milestone for the board to approve the Chair to serve for a second year.
