The board of directors has approved a motion to amend 1.2.5 Director Development and 1.2.6 Director Honorarium and Expense policies to enhance the education and professional development of our Board as well as to provide ongoing reporting transparency to our members.

CREB® understands that a life-threatening illness can take a toll on a REALTOR®’s life and career at any given moment. It is for this reason that the Critical Illness Benefit Society (CIBS) assists members experiencing a life-threatening illness with $12,500 to provide support with medical costs.

Valerie Konechny’s volunteering journey began in the fall of 2011. She had been a licensed REALTOR^® for five years, and at an annual general meeting, someone asked her if she was a volunteer.

Since 2016, CREB^® has had an agreement in place with SentriLock as our Key Management partner to supply the keyboxes we provide to our members.

It is my responsibility, as Chair of CREB^®, to keep members informed about important developments with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
