They saw the work that goes into building a Habitat home, then picked up their tools and got to work themselves. With guidance from the Habitat crew leaders, the REALTORS® hung doors and worked on trimming, windows and baseboards.
CREB® REALTORS® have volunteered for several Habitat Build Days and are always eager to learn new skills and lend a helping hand. Habitat for Humanity was a recipient of the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation Legacy Grant in 2018.
This partnership supported the development of Habitat’s Silvercreek housing project. Since then, CREB® REALTORS® have continued the partnership by participating in Habitat Build Days.
Habitat Build Days are an excellent team-building experience and an impactful way to give back to the Calgary community.
