Holiday Showing

Dec 5, 2023

Home for the holidays

By CREB®

With the holiday season in full swing, busy home sellers may not be able to prepare for a property showing. Here’s some quick tips on what to do.

Temporarily withdraw

If you have a client who cannot have their property available for a showing within 24 hours of a request to view it, make sure to temporarily withdraw the listing.

Properties can be temporarily withdrawn for up to 10 calendar days, provided the seller has signed the Temporary Withdrawal Form.

Reactivate when ready

Once the property can be shown within the 24-hour request period, the listing can be reactivated by:

  • Your broker, who is able to temporarily withdraw and reactivate listings or
  • CREB® Member Support. Simply send the Temporary Withdrawal Form to support@creb.ca for help withdrawing or reactivating a listing.
